Abstract [sv]

Hur gick det egentligen till när klezmern kom till Sverige? När, var och på vilket sätt nådde denna medryckande musik våra svenska kuster? De allra första spåren leder bakåt till 1970-talets svenska progressiva musikrörelse. I den svenska progressiva musikrörelsen, populärt kallad ”proggen”, florerade en fäbless för folkmusik, såväl svensk som europeisk och utomeuropeisk. Under 1970-talet existerade ännu inte begrepp som ”world music” eller ”multikulti” men det var under denna tid som intresset alltmer började gry.
