Abstract [sv]

Bröllopskomedierna Muriel's Wedding (1994) och Mamma Mia! – The Movie (2008) kan uttolkas som samhällssatirer som problematiserar kvinnoroller. Filmerna har fascinerande kvinnogestaltningar som här analyseras och diskuteras. Både Muriel's Wedding och Mamma Mia! har blivit stora succéer, såväl konstnärligt som kommersiellt. Faktum är att den oväntade framgången för den australienska lågbudgetproduktionen Muriel's Wedding inspirerade till musikalen Mamma Mia! (1999) som sedermera vidareutvecklades till Mamma Mia! – The Movie...
