Abstract [en]
A paper exploring the historical and theoretical relationships between the natural world, and Western art music. To increase the knowledge of this field and further develop discussion, musical examples from various historic periods are analysed and used to further discussion. Conclusions are drawn and evaluated on both the subject at present, and how further research and studies can be made in the future.
