I detta arbete görs ett försök att realisera en vision om en elektronisk-akustisk, hybridiserad musikalisk värld som för tankarna till en artrik skog. Detta har gjorts genom gestaltning av utvalda egenskaper hos en abstrakt skog, samt genom utforskande av produktionstekniker och digitala verktyg. Utforskandet har främst skett på material som spelats in specifikt för projektet, där okonventionella spelsätt varit en del i gestaltningen. Under arbetet utvecklades konceptet linjär fördelning, som går ut på att låta instrument turas om att höras och att låta syntar turas om att spela toner i en melodi, vilket materialiserades genom utveckling av två nya plugins. Ett antal andra tekniker för förvrängning av instruments klangfärg blev viktiga delar i att förverkliga visionen. Det musikaliska resultatet blev fyra demolåtar, varav en producerades i projektets slutskede med utvecklade koncept och tekniker tillgängliga.

This project seeks to realize a vision of an electroacoustic, hybridized musical world evocative of a species-rich forest. The approach involves the artistic interpretation of selected characteristics of an abstract forest, alongside the exploration of production techniques and digital tools. This exploration has primarily been conducted using material recorded specifically for the project, where unconventional playing techniques have contributed to the sonic expression. During the process, the concept of linear distribution was developed—an approach where instruments alternate in being heard, and synthesizers take turns playing notes within a melody. This concept was implemented through the development of two custom plugins. A number of other techniques for altering the timbre of acoustic instruments also played a central role in realizing the artistic vision. The musical outcome consists of four demo tracks, one of which was produced during the final phase of the project using the refined concepts and techniques.
